Dog Guests:
Upon making your reservation you will receive a link to our "Dog Profile Form." This is an informative, FUN questionaire designed to ensure the safety and welfare of your dog during your stay at The Paw House.  As a general rule, dogs must be friendly towards people and other dogs.

Vaccinations and Titers:
For the safety of all dog guests, we require notification from your vet stating that your dog is current on their vaccinations or titers for DHLLP (a.k.a DHL2P or 5 in 1), bordatella and rabies.  You can send the note via regular mail, e-mail, or you can bring it with you and provide it to us upon checking in.

Dogs in the House:
All dogs are permitted in the private guest rooms and common areas.  There are custom dog beds in each room so your dog can sleep in style!  There is no additional deposit for keeping a dog in a guest room. We ask your understanding that The Paw House reserves the right to full reimbursement for any damage caused by human or dog guests.

We go to great lenghts to provide for the safety and comfort of all guests, our staff and most importangly your dog. Because of this we require that you do not leave your dog unattended (alone) in your bedroom.  Our doggie care facility is available 24/7 to accommodate your dogs while you are exploring Vermont without them. If you have the need to leave your dog in your bedroom, locked up, alone, hen we ask that you not visit us. Thank you so much for your understanding as this has been a source of frustration for us and for other guests who understand and appreciate our attempt to provide your dog with a most comfortable vacation experience.

Also, if you are a first time visitor, we also suggest that you check out a comprehensive page that highlights our services. Summary of services for first time guests. This is a helpful page that goes into great detail about our policies that we have developed since 2001.

We have hundreds of acres to walk off-leash, and also have an off-leash dog park.  To prevent injuries to both humans and guests, we ask that all dogs be leashed in the house.

Barking and Howling:
Human guests must take all measures to prevent their dogs from loud, and/or frequent, and/or habitual barking, howling, crying, or yelping.  Human guests should also refrain from loud, and/or frequent, and/or habitual barking, howling, crying, or yelping.

Accidents and Dog Waste:
We take great pride in the beauty of our inn and in our grounds and appreciate all of the positive feedback that we have received from our guests over the years regarding our "overboard" focus on cleanliness.

It is our goal to ensure that dog waste and accidents do not have any type of negative impact on the environment.

On the grounds of the property we have placed clearly marked green receptacles for dog waste. ALL dog owners and Inn employees and/or managers will be responsible for depositing dog waste into these receptacles.  Unfortunately if someone fails to pick up after their dog on The Paw House property, they will be asked to leave with no refund.  Please do not place dog waste into the trash, toilet, or any other area other than designated receptacles.

We understand that accidents happen. If your dog should have an accident in the room or house, PLEASE clean it and notify a member of The Paw House staff as soon as possible. Cleaning supplies can be found under each bathroom sink.

Age:
We regret that due to insurance restrictions we can only accommodate children under the age of 10 under certain circumstances. If you plan on visiting us with a child under the age of 10, we ask that you call or e-mail and we will do our best to try to work something out.

Smoking:
The Paw House is a non-smoking establishment.
